"Unleash the Power of Project Teams" Workbook Flow Diagram

The following diagram should give you a good overview of the contents in this workbook. Templates for the key team project development tools are provided in the toolbox. Examples of what each tool can look like when it is completed are also provided. Also note that in addition to the tools themselves, a variety of graphics and short articles about the use of project teams are provided. You may also want to purchase videos of each year's AQP Team Excellence Award winners making their team presentation to help you see how these tools can really work.

What Controls a Project's 'Time to Market' Rate?

To better understand how long it might take to complete a given project, begin by asking "How long would it take one person, working continuously, to complete this project?" The use of a team will add some time to this answer in the sense that team discussions take time. These discussions however should also enhance team ownership, project creativity, and project impact, in turn making this investment in additional time worth it. How long it actually takes to complete the project using a team however depends on the amount of time the team as a whole, and as individuals working alone, can invest in the project (both in meetings and between meetings). High impact projects have been completed in as little as three days, if the teams are properly trained, have the information and other resources that they need, and are allowed to work continuously on their project during those three days.
